We Support…

With such things in mind, we love to offer whatever we can to support a variety of people and projects, located both near and far, that express God’s heart for this broken world.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

CAP works with churches nationwide with the specific aim of “releasing people from a life sentence of debt, poverty and their causes.”

The Friary is a local charity that empowers homeless and vulnerable adults to rebuild their lives by offering practical services, advice and emotional support.

Street Pastors, Nottingham

“We care for, love, support, protect, listen to and encourage vulnerable people using the city for pleasure. Whether it be an intoxicated young person who needs to be helped home, talking down a fight, giving first aid or just listening to someone who is lost and burdened – we are there to help.”

CTWB is a group of 15 churches, including us, St Luke’s Church, each with its own unique style, history, and emphasis, that seek to be a united Christian voice and serving presence in West Bridgford.

Nottingham Arimathea Trust

Nottingham Arimathea provide housing and support for some of the most vulnerable people in Nottingham.

Many of the beneficiaries are people who have had their first claim for asylum refused. As such, Nottingham Arimathea works to raise awareness of their plight and dispel myths and stereotyping.
