Meet the team
Rev. Mark Fraser
Vicar
Mark and his family have been part of St Luke’s since September 2008. His teaching is grounded in the Bible, accessible to people at all stages of faith and centres on how we live out the teachings of Jesus in our day-to-day lives.
Mark has a heart for growing St Luke’s through friendship, discipleship and demonstrating the love of Jesus to others, outside the four walls of our church, in the communities where we live and work.
On his day off Mark might be found out walking in the country, catching a film, cooking for friends or playing croquet.

Tom Judge
Associate Pastor
Tom joined us at St Luke's in November 2021. He and his family moved here from Durham, though he originates from the USA. Tom has a particular focus on Growing and Making disciples. This includes supporting our small groups. He also leads on pastoral care.
Tom, along with his wife and two young children, are really enjoying spending time with wider family who live nearby since they moved to Nottingham.

REV. Ade Perham
CURATE
Ade and his family have been part of the St Luke’s family since September 2018. He is married to teacher and outdoor adventurer Jen, and they have two young kids.
Ade spends most time at the Church of the Holy Rood Edwalton but also ministers at St. Luke's. He is currently part of the leadership team of Inspire our young people's group.
In his spare time, among other things Ade loves running, walks in the countryside and a tasty ale or whisky, although not all at the same time!

Claire Meese
Operations Manager
Claire has been Operations Manager since 2019. Before taking on this role she had a background working in education and various kinds of Christian ministry in different parts of the country.
A great day off for Claire involves a good spa day, walking in the countryside or doing some gardening followed by a glass of wine. She also enjoys working with children and young people and is passionate about improving children’s life chances.

Sarah Sharpe
Families Minister & Lead At Connect Gamston
Sarah grew up just two minutes from our church and has been back with us on the staff team since 2017.
Sarah leads the team that have established our Connect Gamston congregation at Pierrepont Gamston Primary School. She also oversees our activity programme for children and families at St Luke’s (including weekly groups, Holiday Clubs, Family Fun Days and other events) and Oasis (a Bible study for Mums).
On her day off, Sarah loves family time with husband John and their two children. They can often be found exploring the fields and footpaths around their home in Keyworth.

Joanne Pilkington
Administrator
Joanne and her family have been coming to St Luke’s for many years and she has worked in the Church Office since 2013. She enjoys welcoming people into our church building and getting to know our regular visitors.
On her days off Joanne enjoys, running, baking, reading and walking with her dog. Originally from the North East, Joanne lives a short walk from St Luke's with her husband Nick and three children.

Sean is the newest member of our team and takes responsibility for looking after our building and grounds.

Church Wardens & Pcc
The Churchwardens and Parochial Church Council (PCC) are elected members of St Luke’s who support the church leadership team in their decision-making and the financial management of the church. St Luke's is a registered charity.
Our Church Wardens are Christine Holden and Lynne Miles. They help oversee the ministry and mission of the church with Mark Fraser who as Vicar is Chair of the PCC.
