On his day off Mark might be found out walking in the country, catching a film, cooking for friends or playing croquet. Mark, Catherine, Joel, Cam and Milly have loved being part of St Luke’s family since September 2008.
Before coming to Nottingham, Mark served as a curate in Bolton and prior to that worked in database marketing for ten years.
Sarah is our first point of contact for families and a key element on our Parenting Courses, Tinies & Toddlers, Messy Church, Wonderfully Made, Family Fun Days, Holiday Club, and more. Sarah is also our main link with Pierrepont Gamston Primary School.
Sarah grew up just two minutes from St Luke’s. Originally a Youth Worker at St Luke’s and then a Youth Minister in the West Midlands, she’s back and loving a new challenge working with families.
Sarah and John live in Keyworth with their two daughters Daisy and Tabitha.
First point of contact for those phoning or calling into the building, Joanne’s background in the financial sector helps her to deal with our day-to-day finances, when she’s not carrying out the many tasks that keep the church administration on track. Joanne also acts as our Electoral Roll officer.
Originally from the north-east, Joanne came south to West Bridgford in 1994, and lives a short walk from church with husband Nick, three sons Alexander, Dominic and Elliot, and her cavapoo Toby.
As a Church of England church, St Luke’s governing body is the Parochial Church Council or PCC.
Our two Church Wardens Maureen Cameron and David Cole (pictured) share the overall oversight of the ministry and mission of the church with the Vicar.
The other members of PCC (from March 2018) are Lydia Bird, Chris Blainey, Cary Bourque, David Brydon, Maureen Cole, Mieneke Hedges, David King-Taylor, Richard Pegg, Sue Pegg, Rachel Sawford and Ian Westran.
