Living Pentecost Today

At Pentecost we remember the occasion where the disciples received the gift of the Holy Spirit, promised by Jesus to help them fulfil their mission of spreading the gospel throughout the world. But what is the nature of the Holy Spirit, and what do the events of Pentecost mean for us in our call to mission today? How do we live the reality of Pentecost in our daily lives?
Through this series we examine 5 characteristics of the Holy Spirit – the ‘life-giving’, ‘truth-revealing’, ‘life-transforming’, ‘gift-giving’ and ‘intimacy-enabling’ Spirit’ – and we ask what each one means for us practically as we too seek to share the gospel throughout our land.
